Under Counter Chiller

ANKE’s Under Counter Chiller holds -2C to +10C beneath a 304 stainless steel worktop at 850mm counter height. One door (UCC1), two door (UCC2), or three door (UCC3), with any door position swappable for a bank of 2 or 3 drawers. Front breathing and venting, so it sits flush in a counter run without a clearance gap behind it.

ANKE builds the Under Counter Chiller in three widths on the same 700 Series platform, so a counter run can be made up from whichever combination fits the space: 900mm, 1350mm, or 1800mm. All three are 700mm deep and 850mm high, and all three hold -2C to +10C.
Doors and drawers are interchangeable on every width, so any door position can be swapped for a bank of 2 or 3 drawers.

Quick Decision

Not sure which configuration fits your kitchen?

Why This Matters

What Happens When A Counter Fridge Is Chosen Like A Cupboard

An under counter chiller is not just a box that gets pushed under a bench. It becomes part of the bench. Four things go wrong when it is specified as storage rather than as a working surface.

Rear breathing units

Need a clearance gap behind them to exhaust heat, so a 900mm unit eats up more than 900mm of a counter run and breaks the line.

Sealed-in condensing units

If the refrigeration system cannot come out from the front, servicing means dismantling the counter around it while the kitchen waits.

Mismatched height

A unit built to a different standard height leaves a step in the worktop, which collects debris and fails inspection.

Thin worktops

The top of an under counter unit takes chopping, hot pans, and standing weight all day. A light gauge top dents and holds water.

Why ANKE

Why Choose The ANKE Under Counter Chiller

ANKE has manufactured commercial refrigeration in the UAE since 1997. The Under Counter Chiller is part of the ANKE 700 Series, designed around energy efficiency, repairability, and long term value, with components that are repairable, reusable, and recyclable.

Why Front Breathing Decides Where You Can Put It

Every refrigeration system has to push its waste heat somewhere. Most under counter units take air in and blow it out at the back, which means they need breathing space behind them. The ANKE 700 Series takes air in and vents it out at the front instead. That single design choice is what lets the unit sit flush against a wall, drop into a continuous counter run, or mount on a plinth without suffocating itself.

Front breathing and venting

Air enters and exits at the front grill, so no clearance gap is needed behind the unit and no counter space is wasted.

Slide-forward condensing unit

The refrigeration system pulls forward for service without removing the whole cabinet, which matters most when the unit is boxed into a counter run.

Plinth mount option

Front venting makes plinth mounting possible, lowering the finished height to 700mm where the counter line calls for it.

Built-in air duct

Distributes cold air evenly through the cabinet, so product at the back of an 1800mm unit sits at the same temperature as product at the front.

How To Order

From Enquiry To Installed Counter

Five steps from enquiry to an installed unit. Tell us the length of the counter run and how many of those positions should be drawers instead of doors, and we will confirm whether UCC1, UCC2, UCC3, or a combination is the right fit.

What is an under counter chiller?
An under counter chiller is a commercial refrigerator built to counter height, typically 850mm, with a stainless steel worktop on top. It stores fresh product at -2C to +10C at the point of use while doubling as a working surface.
An upright chiller is a tall reach-in cabinet used for bulk storage in a store room or back area. An under counter chiller sits inside the working line at counter height, holding a smaller quantity right where the chef needs it, and its top is a usable prep surface.
Front breathing means the unit draws air in and vents it out at the front grill instead of the back. It matters because the unit can then sit flush against a wall or inside a continuous counter run without needing a clearance gap behind it for airflow.
Yes. Doors and drawers are interchangeable across all three widths. Any door position can be replaced with a bank of 2 or 3 drawers.
They are the same cabinet in three widths. UCC1 is 900mm wide with one door and 86.1 litres. UCC2 is 1350mm wide with two doors and 169.8 litres. UCC3 is 1800mm wide with three doors and 253.5 litres. All three are 700mm deep and 850mm high.
What temperature range does the ANKE Under Counter Chiller hold?
It holds -2C to +10C and is rated to operate in 43C ambient heat, with a -10C evaporating temperature.
The standard finished height is 850mm, which lines up with a typical commercial counter run. A plinth mount option lowers the height to 700mm where the layout calls for it.
It runs on R290, a hydrocarbon refrigerant with a Global Warming Potential of 3.
All three Under Counter Chiller models are rated Energy Efficiency Class B. Annual consumption is 599.3 kWh for UCC1, 602.5 kWh for UCC2, and 799 kWh for UCC3.
Yes. The same 700 Series platform is available as an Under Counter Freezer (models UCF1, UCF2 and UCF3) holding -18C to -22C.
How often should the condenser be cleaned?
A commercial kitchen builds up grease and dust quickly, so the condenser should be checked and cleaned every 1 to 3 months. On the ANKE 700 Series the condensing unit slides forward from the front, so this can be done without pulling the unit out of the counter run.
The most common issues are poor cooling from a dusty condenser, restricted airflow where the unit has been boxed in too tightly, and door seals that stop closing fully. Most of these trace back to airflow and maintenance rather than the refrigeration system itself.
Check the condenser coil for grease and dust first, then check that the front grill is not blocked by trolleys or crates, then check the door seals. Restricted airflow is the most common cause by a wide margin.
Yes. Removable worktops are a standard feature of the 700 Series, and customised worktops are available as an option.
Does ANKE build custom sizes?
Yes. As a manufacturer, ANKE can build custom refrigeration to a specific size or layout on request, in addition to the standard UCC1, UCC2 and UCC3 widths.
Door and drawer locks, a bank of 2 or 3 drawers, customised worktops, plinth mount to lower the height to 700mm, stainless steel backsplash, adjustable legs, and extra shelves or slides.
Warranty terms are confirmed at the time of quotation. Contact the ANKE team for current warranty details.
