ANKE International (“ANKE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of every individual and business that interacts with us — whether through our website, our paid advertising across any digital platform, our lead generation forms, or our WhatsApp Business communications. This Privacy Policy is written to be platform-agnostic: it covers all current and future advertising channels without requiring a policy update each time we add a new platform.

ANKE International is a manufacturer and supplier of custom refrigerated display counters, stainless steel kitchen equipment, modular flat-pack kitchen solutions, commercial refrigeration, and automatic doors and gates. We operate across the UAE, India, and Saudi Arabia and serve clients throughout the GCC region.

When you contact us via our website, submit a quote request, fill in a contact form, respond to our advertising on any platform, or message us via WhatsApp Business, you may provide:

  • Company name and business type (e.g., restaurant, hotel, bakery, retailer, contractor)

  • Phone number, including WhatsApp number
  • Business location, emirate, city, or country
  • Project requirements, product enquiry details, and budget range
  • Any files, drawings, or attachments you share voluntarily

We run paid advertising campaigns across multiple digital platforms. The specific platforms we are currently using, and those we may use in the future. Through advertising platforms, we may collect or receive the following categories of data, depending on the platform and ad format used:

  • Ad interaction data — clicks, impressions, video views, watch time, and swipe/scroll events
  • Conversion events — form submissions, phone number clicks, WhatsApp link clicks, catalogue downloads, and page visits
  • Remarketing and retargeting audience data — data used to show our ads to users who have previously visited our website, watched our video content, or engaged with our social media profiles
  • Platform-assigned identifiers — such as click IDs, pixel IDs, or hashed user identifiers used for attribution
  • Lead data submitted via native Lead Generation Forms on any advertising platform (see Section 2.4)
  • Lookalike audience signals — aggregated, anonymised signals used by platforms to find audiences similar to our existing customers

We do not control how advertising platforms collect, process, or store data from their own users. Each platform’s privacy policy governs how they handle data on their side. We are responsible only for how we use the data shared with us.

2.4  Data from Native Lead Generation Forms

Several advertising platforms offer native lead generation forms — forms that appear directly within the platform without the user visiting our website. We use, or may use, these on platforms including (but not limited to): LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, YouTube/Google, Reddit, and Twitter/X.

When you submit a native lead generation form on any advertising platform, that platform shares with us the data fields you completed. These typically include:

  • Full name
  • Professional or personal email address
  • Phone number (where requested)
  • Job title, company name, and company size (where the platform pre-fills from your profile)
  • Country or city of residence
  • Any custom answers you provide to our form questions

By submitting a lead generation form on any advertising platform, you consent to ANKE International receiving and processing that data for the purposes described in this policy. Each platform’s own privacy policy governs how they handle your data before it is shared with us.

2.5  Data from WhatsApp Business

We use WhatsApp Business to communicate with leads and clients. When you message us via WhatsApp or when we follow up with you using a number you have provided, the following may be collected:

  • Your WhatsApp display name and phone number
  • The content of messages exchanged for the purpose of responding to your enquiry
  • Media files (images, documents) you share with us via WhatsApp

We use WhatsApp Business for direct one-to-one sales follow-up only. We do not use WhatsApp for bulk marketing broadcasts without your explicit consent. You may opt out of WhatsApp communications at any time by simply replying ‘STOP’ or requesting removal from our contact list.

  • Legal or regulatory authorities — only where required by applicable law in the UAE, India, Saudi Arabia, or other relevant jurisdictions

All third-party service providers are required to handle your personal data securely, only for the stated purpose, and in compliance with applicable data protection law. We do not authorise any third party to use your data for their own independent marketing.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

ANKE International operates across the UAE, India, and Saudi Arabia. Your personal data may be transferred between our offices in these countries for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or delivering our services. All inter-office transfers comply with applicable data protection regulations.

When data is processed by our authorised advertising platforms or analytics providers, it may be transferred to and stored in the United States or other countries. Our advertising partners are required to operate under approved data transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses, Adequacy Decisions, or equivalent safeguards) to ensure your data receives a level of protection consistent with applicable law.

WhatsApp Business is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA). Data shared via WhatsApp may be processed in the United States and other countries in which Meta operates, subject to Meta’s Data Processing Terms.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These include:

We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any external site you visit.

This Privacy Policy is written to be platform-agnostic and future-proof. When we add a new advertising platform, we update our Active Advertising Platforms list at www.ankeintl.com/advertising-platforms — not this Policy. This Policy itself will only be updated if there is a material change to how we collect, use, or share personal data.

When a material change is made, we will:

  • Update the Effective Date and Version number at the top of this page
  • Post a notice on our website homepage for a minimum of 30 days
  • Where possible, notify active leads or clients by email or WhatsApp
