Table Top Saladette
ANKE’s Table Top Saladette is a refrigerated pan rail that sits on an existing counter or work table, holding GN 1/3 pans at 0C to +10C. Five pan (TTC-1350) or eight pan (TTC-1800), only 270mm high and 395mm deep, in 304 stainless steel with a hinged cover.

ANKE builds the Table Top Saladette in two lengths. TTC-1350 is 1350mm wide and holds 5 GN 1/3 pans. TTC-1800 is 1800mm wide and holds 8. Both are 395mm deep and only 270mm high, so they sit on top of an existing counter or work table rather than taking floor space.
Both models use the same refrigeration system, so power draw and noise output are identical.

Why This Matters
What Happens When The Garnish Station Has No Cold
Most kitchens solve the garnish problem badly, not because they do not care, but because there is nowhere left to put a cabinet. So the pans just sit out, and the workarounds take over.
Pans sitting at room temperature
Cut herbs, sliced tomato, dressings, and dairy garnishes all degrade quickly once they are above safe holding temperature, and the change is visible on the plate.
Ice baths as a workaround
Ice melts, dilutes what it touches, needs refilling through service, and leaves standing water along the pass.
No floor space left
A full cabinet needs floor area and clearance. In a tight kitchen there simply is not any, so the cold never gets added at all.
Uncovered pans overnight
Left open, the surface of prepped garnish dries and takes on whatever is in the air around it.
Why ANKE
Why Choose The ANKE Table Top Saladette
ANKE has manufactured commercial refrigeration in the UAE since 1997. The Table Top Saladette is the smallest and lowest draw unit in the refrigeration range, built for the case where cold is needed at the pass but there is no floor space and no budget for a full cabinet.

Engineering Insight
Why This Is The Cheapest Cold In The Kitchen To Run
449 kWh a year. That is the TTC-1350’s annual consumption, against 599 kWh for the smallest ANKE under counter chiller and 2347 kWh for the smallest under counter freezer. The reason is simple. A cabinet has to cool a whole volume of air and everything in it, and it loses that cold every time a door opens. A saladette only has to cool a shallow well of pans under a lid. That is why 145 watts of refrigeration does the job here where a cabinet needs 350. If the only thing you need cold is the garnish, this is the least expensive way to get it.
55 dBA noise output
The quietest unit in the ANKE refrigeration range, which matters when it is sitting at head height on a pass rather than tucked under a counter.
Front grill breathing
Air is drawn in and exhausted at the front, so the unit can sit back against a wall on a narrow bench without being starved of air.
Automatic condensate vaporizer
Evaporates condensate using waste heat rather than draining it, which matters for a unit sitting on top of a work surface with no drain beneath it.
Wall mounted stand option
Lifts the saladette off the counter entirely, freeing the worktop underneath where bench space is the constraint.
How To Order
From Enquiry To Installed Saladette
Five steps from enquiry to an installed unit. The number that decides TTC-1350 or TTC-1800 is how many GN 1/3 pans your garnish or salad line actually runs at once, five or eight, and whether it will sit on the counter or on a wall mounted stand.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a table top saladette?
It is a refrigerated pan rail that sits on top of an existing counter or work table rather than standing on the floor. It holds GN 1/3 pans at 0C to +10C and is only 270mm high.
What is a saladette used for?
It keeps prepped garnish, salad, dressings, and cold toppings at safe temperature right where they are used, at the pass or on a prep bench, without needing a full refrigerated cabinet.
Does it sit on a counter or on the floor?
On a counter or work table. It is 270mm high and 395mm deep, so it takes bench space rather than floor space. A wall mounted stand is available as an option if you need the bench underneath kept clear.
What is the difference between a saladette and a preparation chiller?
A preparation chiller is a full standing unit with an elevated pan rail on top and a refrigerated cabinet underneath. A saladette is the pan rail on its own, with no cabinet, designed to sit on furniture you already have.
What is the difference between TTC-1350 and TTC-1800?
TTC-1350 is 1350mm wide and holds 5 GN 1/3 pans, with 45 litres of usable volume. TTC-1800 is 1800mm wide and holds 8 pans, with 65 litres. Both are 395mm deep and 270mm high, and both use the same refrigeration system.
What temperature range does the ANKE Table Top Saladette hold?
It holds 0C to +10C, with a -10C evaporating temperature.
What pans does it take?
The pan grid is GN 1/3 sized. TTC-1350 takes 5 pans, TTC-1800 takes 8.
How much bench space does it need?
TTC-1350 needs 1350mm of length, TTC-1800 needs 1800mm. Both are 395mm deep and 270mm high. Because it breathes through a front grill, it can be set back against a wall.
What ambient temperature is it rated for?
The Table Top Saladette is rated for 32C ambient. That is lower than the 43C rating on the ANKE under counter range, so it should sit in an air-conditioned part of the kitchen rather than beside a hot line or in an unconditioned space.
How much does it cost to run?
TTC-1350 uses 1.23 kWh per day, or 449 kWh per year. TTC-1800 uses 1.41 kWh per day, or 515 kWh per year. Both draw 1.3 running amps with a total electrical load of 0.15 kW.
How should the pans and well be cleaned?
Lift the GN pans out and clean the well underneath separately. Because the unit sits on a bench, the whole surface around it should be wiped down at the same time so nothing collects at the base.
How often should the condenser be cleaned?
Check and clean the front grill and condenser every 1 to 3 months. A saladette sits higher than a cabinet does, so it tends to pick up airborne grease from cooking equipment nearby.
Where does the defrost water go?
The unit includes an automatic condensate vaporizer system, which evaporates the water using waste heat rather than draining it. That is what allows it to sit on a work surface with no drain underneath.
The pans are not holding temperature. What should I check first?
Check that the cover is being closed when the station is not in service, then check that pans are not overfilled above the rail line, then check the front grill for grease and dust. Overfilled pans sit above the cold and warm from the top down.
Which model should I choose?
Count the GN 1/3 pans your line actually runs at once. Five pans, TTC-1350. Eight pans, TTC-1800. Then check you have the bench length: 1350mm or 1800mm.
What options are available?
An acrylic cover in place of the standard stainless cover, Grade 316 AISI stainless steel for more corrosive environments, and a wall mounted stand.
What is the warranty on the ANKE Table Top Saladette?
Warranty terms are confirmed at the time of quotation. Contact the ANKE team for current warranty details.
